Richard Burdon - Director
Richard is committed to personal farming aspirations but he enjoys and is dedicated to the Agricultural Industry. After graduating with a Diploma in Farm Management at Lincoln University he has been involved with many different farmer associated groups over the years; such as The New Zealand Sheep Council, Merino Inc, Federated Farmers Otago and the High Country section of Federated Farmers. This along with Lincoln Kellogg Course has helped develop his leadership skills and given insight to the responsibilities and obligations of a board Director. Richard has been able to develop a wide perspective on a number of issues, and has enjoyed relaying the information learnt and encouraging fellow farmers and associates to participate in the industry. Richard is dedicated to creating new opportunities for New Zealand agriculture. He has a good understanding about the issues of nature conservation and economic production, realising that to achieve long-term sustainability it is dependent on maintaining a variety of values within the same landscape through integrated land management.
